Leon's Cacao Journey
Hello, beautiful reader!
I'm Leon, and my first experience with cacao was back in 2020 when I attended a cacao ceremony. I didn't know what to expect, but the experience deeply connected me to my heart space, a place that hasn't always been easy for me to access and has played a significant role in my inner healing journey over the years.
During one part of the ceremony, we were asked to choose someone in the room to share something beautiful with. I chose my partner, Gina, and as I began to speak, I could feel the words flowing straight from my heart. Emotion started to rise and as I shared from such a pure place of love, many people in the room started to be moved to tears, including me.
That moment taught me the power of words when we, as humans, are truly connected to the love within us. It also showed me the profound role cacao can play in helping us tap into this space.
For the years after, cacao remained a part of my life through occasional ceremonies. But by 2023, it became much more. My partner, Gina, would offer me a cup here and there, as she had made it a part of her daily ritual. I started noticing how it helped me lock in focus for the day ahead, providing an uplifting energy boost that felt much smoother than what I used to get from coffee which would often leave me feeling jittery and anxious.
Intrigued, I began deepening my research on cacao and was blown away by the incredible amount of vitamins, minerals and health benefits packed into this unreal tasting drink. It almost felt too good to be true that I could start my day with something that tasted like chocolate yet offered so many positive effects.
Now, over a year later, cacao has remained a consistent staple in both mine and Gina’s daily lives, and from this deep passion and alignment, Origin & Alchemy was born. It’s a brand I truly stand behind, one that I can wholeheartedly share with others, knowing just how powerful and transformative what we offer can be.
Each and every one of our days is built on habits and familiar patterns that shape our lives and for me, starting every day on a positive note is key to making the day ahead a great one.

Hey, my loves, I’m Gina.
In 2020, my journey truly awakened with cacao at the forefront. After my first ceremony, my heart and eyes were wide open to this beautiful, powerful elixir. I felt called to drink Mama Cacao regularly, beginning with holding my own ceremonies for myself, deepening my connection to cacao’s heartfelt energy.
I noticed how she seemed to expand my awareness, allowing me to revisit past experiences with love and appreciation for the people I hold dear. I couldn't believe the depth of love I was capable of feeling. Through drinking her more regularly, I began to see shifts unfolding in my life, it was as if she was guiding me to see beyond what was no longer aligned. I felt a profound sense of presence, clarity, and understanding of myself and the world around me.
By 2022, I knew I had to hold my first cacao ceremony with a group of women. It was beyond words, powerful, deeply healing, and incredibly bonding for all of us. In that moment, I witnessed another layer of cacao’s magic, how she brings us closer within our relationships and strengthens the sacred bonds of sisterhood and brotherhood.
When you drink our cacao, our deepest wish is that you feel the love, gratitude, and reverence we hold for her medicine. Our intention is for everyone to experience the beauty and transformation she offers.
